Quality Management Systems (QMS)

ISO 9001 is the internationally recognized standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS). It is the most widely used QMS standard in the world, with over 1.1 million certificates issued to organizations in 178 countries. ISO 9001 provides a framework and set of principles that ensure a common-sense approach to the management of your organization to consistently satisfy customers and other stakeholders. In simple terms, ISO 9001 certification provides the basis for effective processes and effective people to deliver an effective product or service time after time.

IATF 16949:2016

In addition to ISO 9001:2015 certification, Neutronic Stamping & Plating is certified to IATF 16949:2016 which is the automotive industry specified Quality Management System standard. The IATF ( International Automotive Task Force ) standards are applied globally and is mandated to the supply chain of automotive OEM’s.

This industry specific stringent quality requirement is utilized in all facets of our operations and enhances ISO 9001:2015, to ensure consistent quality, and total customer satisfaction.

IATF 16949

Automotive Quality Management Systems

IATF 16949:2016 is the International Standard for Automotive Quality Management Systems. IATF 16949 was jointly developed by The International Automotive Task Force (IATF) members and submitted to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for approval and publication.

The document is a common automotive quality system requirement based on ISO 9001, and customer specific requirements from the automotive sector.

IATF 16949 emphasizes the development of a process oriented quality management system that provides for continual improvement, defect prevention and reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain. The goal is to meet customer requirements efficiently and effectively.

The IATF is a group of automotive manufacturers and their respective trade associations, formed to provide improved quality products to automotive customers worldwide.

The standard is applicable to any organization that manufactures components, assemblies and parts for supply to the automotive industry. In this context manufacturing is defined as:
