We are in current need of Tool and Die Makers with a minimum of 5 years of progressive, carbide die experience. Applicants must be able to drill, grind, mill and assemble dies. They must also be able to measure, troubleshoot, perform preventative die maintenance, read/interpret blueprints, specifications, engineering sketches and set up/run dies in press.
Education and Experience:
Minimum 5 years in Progressive Carbide die making
Responsibilities:
- Operate tool room machinery in a safe manner during the build process.
- Perform tool and die repairs on progressive dies, manually operated dies, and tooling.
- Must be able to work to tolerances of 0.0001”
- Perform tool and die repair, maintenance and assembly on carbide progressive dies, manually operated dies
- Diagnose and troubleshoot dies in the bench and make corrections.
- Support, try out, and make ready to run production after die or tool installations.
- Support press room operations by servicing die sets, troubleshoot dies and make corrections, when possible, with die in the press, and through using SPC data to determine dimensional integrity for die adjustments and document.
