We are looking for a highly qualified and motivated Quality Engineer with at least 5 years of Quality Control experience, an understanding of GD&T, and a thorough knowledge of micro-precision parts manufacturing. The ideal candidate would have experience working with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality standards. The right candidate will be customer focused and work well with the team internally.
Education and Experience:
BS in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, business administration or equivalent number of years’ experience
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical Inspection
- Plans and oversees the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of products. Designs and implements quality training programs to key personnel in conjunction
- with managers.
- Conducts internal, customer, supplier, and IATF audits.
- Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
- Investigation and problem-solving using quality tools
- Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.
- Clearly communicate with customers and suppliers on quality issues
- Perform PPAPs and all corresponding flow diagrams
- Make substantial contributions to the IATF 16949 QMS
